River Tunnel is a sculptural passage defined by flowing geometry, layered transparency, and the sensation of movement through space. Developed alongside Gordon Huether and the team at Brave Design, the project explored how light, form, and repetition could transform circulation into an immersive spatial experience.
My involvement included digital form development, visualization, and fabrication-oriented modeling, helping shape the project from conceptual studies into coordinated production geometry.
Process
The project was shaped through a fluid design workflow centered around movement, repetition, and spatial immersion. Using advanced 3D modeling and form exploration, the tunnel geometry was developed as a continuous experience — studying how light, perspective, and circulation interact within the structure while maintaining coordination with fabrication constraints and assembly strategies.
